PAS Ballet Studio Policies and Registration Form

Payment:

1. Tuition: Tuition is due by the first Friday of each month. We accept credit card, debit card, personal checks or cash for payment. If you decide to pay with a credit card, we can place you on autopay which will charge your card automatically on the first Friday of each month. If you wish to change your credit card on file or would like to switch payment methods, you must contact the studio owner by email at brittdrushal@pasballet.com, BEFORE the first Friday of the month.

2. Late Fee: Tuition that is not paid by the first Friday of each month, is considered LATE. If tuition is not paid by the first Friday of any given month, a late fee of $20 will be assessed. If tuition is not paid by the third Friday of any given month, the student will not be allowed to participate in any further classes until tuition and late fees are paid in full.

Note: as a courtesy, you will be notified by email before your monthly payment is due.

3. Refund Policy: There are NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS that will be given for tuition or any tuition related fees.

5. Pro-rating:  We will prorate classes only for new students during the first month of classes.

6. Returned Checks: Any check that is returned will be subject to $20 fee.

7. Cancellation of classes: I understand and agree that PAS BALLET reserves the right to cancel any or all classes. Should a class be cancelled, we will notify you by email and will work with you to provide an acceptable replacement.

Dropping a class:

In order to avoid late fees and charges you must drop classes before the first Friday of the month by emailing brittdrushal@pasballet.com. If you do not drop classes before the first Friday of the month, you will continue to be charged monthly tuition as you are ultimately paying for a spot in a class that otherwise could have been filled by another student. Failing to show to a class does not constitute canceling or dropping the class. If you are on autopay, your card will continue to be on file until you cancel or drop. You must contact brittdrushal@pasballet.com to complete this process.

Class Make-Up:

Make-up classes that are offered will be based on classroom schedule. We will do our best to provide you with acceptable options, however, make-up classes may not always be available.

Code of Conduct:

Every dancer will need to be respectful of all students and teachers. We will not tolerate any physical or verbal abuse, including “name calling” or “bullying” by any student. If a student disrupts the safety of other students in the class they will be asked to leave without refund. All students must also show respect to the property of others. Any intentional damage to or theft of such property or class equipment will not be tolerated and could result in the student’s dismissal from class without refund. All PAS Ballet dance teachers will make sure the classroom is a safe environment by upholding these rules and regulations. If a student does not abide by these rules they may be asked to discontinue dance classes until they can use appropriate behavior. At any time, we reserve the right to refuse service based on the above mentioned.

Communication:

Throughout the year, there is a lot of information that is communicated to our families, some of which include: celebrating your child’s achievements and personal growth, updating parents on skills and ballet terminology learned in the classroom, setting personal benchmarks and goals, and, of course, sending out reminders and studio updates. We ask that you provide your email address in order to effectively communicate this information with you.

Email – Please add info@pasballet.com and brittdrushal@pasballet.com to your email list. We regularly send email and newsletter updates.

Hand-outs – Your student will receive flyers and hand-outs that will be placed in their backpack.

Website – Basic studio info, including staff contact info can be found here.

Placement in Classes:

PAS BALLET, LLC. and its instructors will place students in classes. We ask for your respect, in regards to our expertise in class placement. We desire to see every student grow and achieve the most within our classes in a safe and engaging way.

Attire:

Clothing – PAS BALLET recognizes that each child has their own unique sensory needs and dislikes. We will work with each parent/student to accommodate those unique needs. At this time there is no required uniform (leotard, tights, etc.). However, we do require students to show up for class in clothing that allows your student a free range of movement (sweat pants, yoga pants, bike shorts, etc). Please be thoughtful when dressing your student and do not choose items such as dresses/skirts, or jeans.

Shoes—If enrolled in ballet level one or higher we do recommend (and prefer) having the student wear split sole ballet slippers. However, if this cannot be tolerated by the student, socks or bare feet are perfectly fine. If your child has difficulty changing shoes, PAS BALLET staff can assist your child with this task.

Special Assistance:

If your child has any sensory needs or avoidances, please let the PAS BALLET staff know. We are here to make sure your child is enjoying their time in class and will do our best to make accommodations for each student.
